Learning for Justice

Founded by the Southern Poverty Law Center under the name Teaching Tolerance in 1991, Learning for Justice was originally created to prevent the growth of hate by reducing prejudice. In the last 30 years, their work has evolved to center justice and the action that students and educators can take to realize change.

American Council on Education: Race and Ethnicity in Higher Education

The American Council on Education is the major coordinating body for the nation’s colleges and universities. It focuses on mobilizing the higher education community to shape effective public policy and foster innovative, high-quality practice.

Engaging Students on Issues of Race

Developed by the University of Delaware, this resource provides specific and practical suggestions for discussing race and social justice issues with students. Several research articles are also referenced to further work with students.
