Interior Design students wanting to purchase a laptop capable of running the software that is taught beginning in the Sophomore year will need to purchase a Windows PC with the following requirements:
Operating System: 64-bit Microsoft® Windows® 10 or Windows 11
CPU Type: Intel® i-Series, Xeon®, AMD® Ryzen, Ryzen Threadripper PRO. 2.5 GHz or Higher (Highest CPU GHz recommended)
Memory: 16 GB RAM or higher (32 GB RAM recommended)
Video Display Resolutions: Minimum: 1680 x 1050 with true color or higher (Maximum: Ultra-High (4k) Definition Monitor)
Video Adapter for Advanced Graphics: DirectX® 11 capable graphics card with Shader Model 5 and a minimum of 4 GB of video memory
Hard Drive: 512 SSD Hard Drive (1 TB or higher recommended)
Monitor: 15″ screen or larger OR portable model with docking station with large screen(s)
Pointing Device: Mouse with scroll wheel button
