HUMAN NUTRITION

The Master of Science in Human Nutrition is a 30-semester-hour program designed for nutrition professionals and individuals pursuing careers in related fields such as medicine, public health, or other sciences. This program delivers advanced knowledge in food and nutrition, cultivates research skills, and encourages independent thought, equipping graduates for a wide range of career opportunities or further doctoral studies. The degree is available through distance education, with identical requirements and course content, whether completed on-campus or online

PHD IN HUMAN NUTRITION

The PhD in human nutrition is a three-year, 54-credit-hour program designed to align with the goals and objectives of the National Institutes of Health’s National Center for Advancing Translational Sciences (NCATS). As such, the program supports the training and development of researchers and leaders in the field of nutrition by focusing on developing the skills needed to perform bench-to-bedside-to-community research.

HOSPITALITY MANAGEMENT

The master of science degree is offered through the College of Human Environmental Science. Students may specialize in the Hospitality Management (HM) program, located within the Department of Human Nutrition, Hospitality and Sport Management Directory.

SPORT MANAGEMENT

Sport Management is the study of business functions that deal with the administration of sport organizations, sporting events, and the operations of community, collegiate, and professional teams. Sport Management also involves venue and team operations, ticket sales, risk management and assessment, fan experience creation, contract negotiations, NCAA and professional sports rules and regulation compliance, marketing, and sales.
