NutraCo is the leading source of employment for Registered Dietitians in a variety of healthcare settings. The NutraCo Dietetic Internship is a distance program that accepts students nationwide. Interns have the convenience and flexibility of completing rotations in their chosen location(s). We offer an 8-month stand alone DI option, or the option to apply to an affiliated graduate degree program; students may alternatively select their own graduate degree program to complete while completing our DI program. We offer multiple start dates each year, in January and August. Interns may complete rotations on a part time (16-24 hours/week) or full time (32-40 hours/week) basis. The NutraCo DI consists of customizable rotations that allow for the accommodation of a variety of intern schedules. We offer a database of over 1100 potential preceptors across the country to accepted applicants for support in securing rotation sites and preceptors. Interns may apply for prior assessed learning credit for applicable work and/or volunteer experiences that meet specific requirements. The NutraCo Dietetic Internship is dedicated to the preparation of entry-level Registered Dietitian Nutritionists by cultivating a culture of learning, growth and excellence nationwide.
